INTERVIEW: Wounded Warrior Fundraisers Nov 14, 15, & 21

The Elks of St. Mary's County are launching their next round of fundraisers for the noble Wounded Warrior project this weekend.

This Saturday, Nov. 14, there is a 5K Walk/Run starting at Cheeseburger in Paradise at 8:00 a.m. (registration starts at 7:00a).

Also this weekend on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 14 and 15, there is a Fishing Tournament at Buzz's Marina in Ridge from dawn to 3:30p each day.

Finally, on Saturday, Nov. 21, the Elks Charity Ball 2009 starts at 5:30p. The Ball will feature Guest Speaker 1st Lt. Denis Oliverio USMC (ret). Denis is a local man who was seriously injured overseas and subsequently benefitted from the Wounded Warrior project.
